Digifloat is a fast-growing technology consulting company providing end-to-end data, AI, and cloud solutions for clients across the globe. We are seeking a talented Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in Kubernetes to join our engineering team and help design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud environments.

Role Overview:

As a Cloud Engineer at Digifloat, you will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, deploying and scaling containerized applications using Kubernetes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Manage and monitor Kubernetes clusters, services, and containerized workloads
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications using CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement best practices for security, performance, and cost optimization
  • Support developers and DevOps teams with infrastructure and deployment needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues
  • Write infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, Helm, or Ansible
  • Maintain documentation for infrastructure and operational processes

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Cloud or DevOps Engineer
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-hosted)
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker
  • Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Helm, Ansible)
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
  • Good scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar certification
  • Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) or serverless technologies
  • Understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and policy management
  • Experience with disaster recovery and high availability planning
