Software Quality Assurance Automation Tester

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

BitCloud Solution is looking for a skilled SQA/ Automation tester to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, a passion for quality, and a desire to make a positive impact on our products.

The SQA/ Automation tester will be responsible for defining, implementing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases and test automation tools/scripts to ensure software is delivered with high quality. The SQA/ Automation tester is required to have good communication with the team and customers, and a strong technical background in terms of successfully developing, managing and implementing product test script libraries.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years Proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • Must be proficient in Cypress
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • Good Debugging and Troubleshooting Skills.
  • Experience with all phases of the testing lifecycle with a strong focus on requirement analysis, gap analysis, test case creation and execution.
Job Specification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source Cypress
  • Responsible to design and implement end-to-end test scripts from User-Interface through to back-office technology.
  • Responsible to continuously build and improve the product tests, ensuring it is up-to-date with all scenarios and test cases
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Working an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Accountable to monitor performance and benchmarking test results
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Executing test plans, reporting software bugs, reproducing problems reported by customers, and verifying software bug fixes from development.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
