Overview

Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Senior Physiotherapist to join our esteemed team. This role demands a proactive individual with a Master's degree in Physiotherapy, preferably with a focus on Sports Physical Therapy, and at least three years of clinical experience. The Senior Physiotherapist will be responsible for managing a team of 30 professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality physiotherapeutic services. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership skills, possess in-depth knowledge of therapeutic practices, and strive for excellence in patient care while fostering a collaborative environment within the team. This position plays a pivotal role in promoting health and rehabilitation, contributing to both individual patient outcomes and broader institutional goals.

In this leadership role, the Senior Physiotherapist will oversee the development and implementation of treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of patients, especially athletes. They will guide their team in employing evidence-based practice and innovative approaches in therapy to enhance the efficacy of treatment. The successful candidate will work closely with other healthcare professionals, participate in ongoing educational initiatives, and engage in research activities that support the advancement of the physiotherapy field. The Senior Physiotherapist will also represent the department in university meetings and contribute to the strategic direction of physiotherapy services at Riphah International University.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment programs based on clinical diagnosis and patient goals.
  • Oversee and mentor the physiotherapy team, ensuring high standards of patient safety and care.
  • Lead team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge within the practice.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and implement strategies for wellness.
  • Stay current with advancements in sports physical therapy and integrate evidence-based practices into treatment protocols.
  • Monitor and assess the progress and outcomes of patients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and legal requirements.
  • Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation exercises, injury prevention, and self-care strategies.
  • Engage in research and professional development activities to contribute to the field and enhance personal expertise.
  • Represent the physiotherapy department in university meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies.
  • Manage budget and resources for the physiotherapy department while ensuring efficient operations.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy (preferably with a focus on Sports Physical Therapy).
  • At least three years of clinical experience.
  • Experience in leading a team of professionals and coordinating multidisciplinary care is preferred.

  • Salary Range: PKR 60,000 to 60,000 per month.
