IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Be responsible for managing and administering inventory operations to ensure system availability and performance. You will support application operations, conduct UATs and deployments, handle system configuration changes, and reconcile system data anomalies. This role requires regular coordination with internal teams and external vendors like IBM, System Limited, and WhaleCloud.

You will work closely with cross-functional departments including Business Operations, Customer Care, IT Infrastructure, and Network teams to maintain seamless operations and system integrity. Your ability to communicate clearly—especially in English—will be key when liaising with international vendors.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

  • Administer and manage inventory operations, ensuring 24/7 system availability, daily operations, and regular health checks.
  • Provide Level 2 technical support to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application operations and user incidents.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UATs), manage deployments, and liaise with vendors to resolve system bugs.
  • Manage system configurations and change requests (CRs) in coordination with IT planning teams.
  • Identify and resolve data anomalies and perform regular system reconciliations to maintain data integrity.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification:

  • Minimum 16 years of education in Computer Science or IT from an HEC-recognized university.

Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a reputable organization.
  • Telecom industry knowledge will be preferred.

Competencies:

  • Proficiency in databases (SQL/PLSQL) and Linux environments.
  • Strong understanding of system configuration and change management.
  • Ability to analyze data anomalies and perform reconciliations.
  • Communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and global vendors.
  • Familiarity with Linux commands and scripting will be an added advantage.
