MEDS NEXUS, a USA-based company, is looking for a Sr. A/R Specialist – Vision Care Practice for its Rawalpindi office.

Responsible for insurance verifications, authorizations, collecting, posting, and managing account payments. Responsible for submitting claims and following up with insurance companies.

Essential Functions

1. Prepares and submits vision claims daily to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper.
2. Promptly processes payments from insurance companies.
3. Identifies and resolves insurance & patient billing complaints.
4. Follows up on aging claims or delinquent accounts.
5. Participates in educational activities and attends monthly billing meetings.
6. Maintains the strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA – PHI guidelines/regulations.

Skills/Experience

1. Knowledge of vision care billing/collection practices.
2. Sound knowledge of vision care payers' guidelines and submission process.
3. Expertise in Medicaid & MCD MCOs' claims processing.
4. Knowledge of authorizations & denial management.
5. Knowledge of computer programs.
6. Knowledge of business office procedures.
7. Knowledge of basic vision coding and third-party operating procedures and practices.
8. Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment.
9. Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system.
10. Skill in answering a telephone pleasantly and helpfully.
11. Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
12. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members or supervisors.
13. Must be well-organized and detail-oriented.

Experience

The candidates with at least 2 to 3 years of experience in medical billing & A/R management (vision care practice experience is preferable).

Contract length: 36 months

Salary: Rs50,000.00 – Rs70,000.00 per month
