About Client Company:

Hiring for a UAE-based leading media and entertainment firm.

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly financial reports to management.
  • Ensure all reports are accurate, consistent, and submitted on time.
  • Gather financial and operational data from all Business Units (BUs) regularly.
  • Consolidate data from multiple BUs to create streamlined reports for management review.
  • Take ownership of the reporting pack, including preparation, analysis, and presentation.
  • Maintain and update schedules and supporting documentation for all relevant P&L items.
  • Perform detailed analysis to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
  • Address finance-related concerns raised by regional teams with solutions and guidance.
  • Highlight major financial issues or anomalies to management promptly.
  • Identify and communicate key financial and operational risks.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Conduct weekly financial projections with regional teams, sales, project, and business managers.
  • Review project budgets, grants, and contracts for alignment with financial goals.
  • Monitor and enforce budget controls to prevent overspending and ensure compliance.
  • Review and validate Business Development plans before submission to Group Finance.
3. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
  • Assist finance teams with cash flow management through analysis and recommendations.
  • Maintain updated records of cash flow positions and working capital needs.
  • Track cash flow activities in real-time, identifying gaps or issues.
  • Escalate urgent cash flow issues and propose solutions.
4. Ad Hoc Responsibilities
  • Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned.
  • Support evolving business needs and organizational goals.
  • Manage multiple tasks and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in valuation methods like DCF and financial modeling.
  • Create impactful presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Use advanced Excel skills for financial models and data analysis.
  • Utilize Microsoft Visio for process mapping.
  • Prepare and maintain reporting templates and performance tools.
  • Generate projections and collaborate with teams for forecasts.
  • Leverage AI insights for reporting and analysis.
  • Apply statistical analysis for business intelligence.
  • Understand core business functions: finance, sales, operations, planning.
  • High computer literacy and technology integration skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
