This role involves working on commercial office and retail branch projects for our multinational banking client. The main goal is to lead multi-disciplinary real estate project solutions with direct accountability for project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of project management including programme, budget, quality, scope, procurement, and risk for retail banking projects, covering planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day delivery of project tasks.
- Develop client briefs and project execution plans tailored to each project.
- Manage internal and external design teams to develop solutions that meet client expectations and budgets.
- Handle local government approval processes with support from consultants and contractors.
- Administer contracts, ensuring compliance from contractors and consultants.
- Assist in preparing tender documents, reviewing tenders, negotiating contracts, and reporting to clients.
- Develop project documentation, including programmes and master cost plans.
- Prepare weekly project status reports and other relevant deliverables.
- Deliver projects considering risk, sustainability, and environmental factors, while maintaining focus on time, cost, and quality.
- Monitor and report on contractor progress against schedules.
- Manage consultant teams to ensure design and built product compliance with contracts.
- Manage client expectations and communicate effectively.
- Oversee schedules, budgets, and change orders driven by clients or contractors.
- Travel as necessary for project delivery.
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of project management tools and platforms.
- Report project progress using cloud-based project management software.
- Participate in PMO oversight activities related to governance, assurance, and performance trends.
- No formal supervisory responsibilities, but manage third-party project delivery resources and track performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field from a reputed university.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- PMP or LEED AP certifications preferred.
