Position Summary
We are looking for a Central Invoicing Specialist to strengthen our Finance Department at our Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi offices.
This role focuses on preparing accurate, tax-compliant invoices; ensuring compliance with FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) and provincial revenue authorities like Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA), Sindh Revenue Board (SRB), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA), and Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA); and maintaining smooth coordination with internal teams, clients, and government departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and issue accurate client invoices as per contractual terms and applicable tax laws.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation for audits and internal reviews.
- Monitor overdue invoices and coordinate with the collection team to ensure timely recovery.
- Ensure correct calculation and application of Sales Tax/Federal Excise Duty (FED) and other levies as per FBR and provincial regulations (PRA, SRB, KPRA, BRA).
- Generate and submit tax-compliant invoices and monthly/quarterly tax returns to relevant authorities.
- Respond to notices, audits, or clarifications from FBR and provincial boards and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Act as a central contact point for all invoicing and tax-related queries for Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi offices.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Audit teams to ensure proper documentation and seamless processing.
- Support internal stakeholders and provide clarifications to clients/vendors regarding invoices and payments.
- Prepare periodic reports on invoicing status, outstanding receivables, and tax submissions.
- Stay updated on amendments in FBR and provincial tax laws, SROs, and recommend improvements to align with best practices.
- Contribute to streamlining and automating invoicing and tax reporting processes to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in invoicing, accounts, and tax compliance (preferably with exposure to FBR & provincial boards).
- Solid understanding of Pakistan's taxation system — Sales Tax, FED, PRA, SRB, KPRA, BRA.
- Proficiency in accounting software (ERP preferred) and MS Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle pressure.
