Job Title: SEO Analyst-Market Trends & R&D Specialist

Job Type: Full-Time (Onsite)

Location: College Road, Lahore

Job Description:

We're looking for an SEO Analyst-Market Trends & R&D Specialist who is obsessed with staying at the forefront of search engine trends, tools, and community insights. This role is not about link building, content writing, or standard keyword research. Instead, it focuses entirely on research and development — identifying what's changing in the SEO world, testing new tools and ideas, and translating those findings into strategic insights for the SEO team and leadership.

You'll work closely with the SEO Head and occasionally report directly to the CEO with your findings and recommendations. Your job is to make sure we're never behind the curve — and ideally, always a step ahead of it.

What You'll Do:

• Track SEO Industry Movements: Follow thought leaders, agencies, forums, and newsletters to stay on top of the latest developments, ideas, and strategies.
• Analyze Case Studies and Experiments: Study real-world SEO case studies, breakdowns, and experiments from top practitioners to extract learnings and patterns.
• Monitor Communities and Conversations: Actively participate in SEO communities on LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Slack groups, and Discord channels to catch early signals of emerging trends.
• Summarize and Report Findings: Prepare regular summaries of what's happening in the SEO space — what's new, what's effective, and what's worth testing — and share insights with the SEO Head and CEO.
• Evaluate and Recommend Strategy Ideas: Identify experimental tactics or frameworks that could be worth testing internally, and make informed recommendations.
• Test Select New Tools (Light R&D): Occasionally sign up for and explore new SEO tools or betas, focusing more on strategic fit than deep usage.
• Build an Internal SEO Intelligence Base: Maintain a central knowledge hub or internal SEO "playbook" that organizes your insights, case studies, and strategy briefs for the team to access.

What Makes You a Fit:

You've been in SEO long enough to understand what matters and what's fluff. You bring 2-3 years of SEO experience to the table. You're not here to learn the basics — you've already practiced SEO in the field and can tell the difference between a gimmick and a meaningful tactic.

You're also someone who naturally reads between the lines. You don't just consume content — you analyze, question, and synthesize it. You're intellectually curious and always want to understand the "why" behind every change or result in the SEO world.

You're active in the community (or want to be), enjoy scanning discussions and debates, and have the discipline to organize scattered insights into structured knowledge. You're an independent thinker with a sharp mind and a strong sense of ownership over what you research and report.
