Responsibilities:
  1. Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
  2. Review and validate payroll data including working hours, deductions, bonuses, and allowances.
  3. Ensure payroll calculations comply with applicable tax laws, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
  4. Prepare final settlements and end-of-service benefits for departing employees, including leave encashments.
  5. Maintain up-to-date payroll records and employee compensation files.
  6. Ensure all payroll transactions are properly documented and stored in compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
  7. Maintain employee leave balances, benefits, advances, and deductions.
  8. Generate and submit payroll reports to management, finance teams, and external auditors as required.
  9. Reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts and coordinate with the accounting team for accurate financial reporting.
  10. Stay updated with changes in tax legislation, labor laws, and payroll best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
  11. Address employee inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to salaries, deductions, or benefits.
  12. Collaborate with HR to ensure alignment of employee records, time and attendance data, and other payroll inputs.
  13. Communicate payroll-related changes or updates to relevant departments promptly.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of proven experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
  3. Hands-on experience with payroll systems such as FlowHCM or other HRMS/payroll software is highly desirable.
  4. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  5. Familiarity with accounting systems and ERP platforms.
  6. Strong knowledge of payroll practices, tax regulations, and labor laws.
  7. High attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion when handling confidential information.
  8. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Nice to have:
  1. Professional certification in payroll or HR (e.g., CPP, PHR) is a plus.
  2. Experience in a mid-to-large size organization with complex payroll structures.
