POSITION: Head of Business Development

SALARY: USD 6,000 (Net) + Accommodation + Other Benefits

OVERVIEW:

Our client, a leading multinational apparel manufacturer, is seeking a seasoned and strategic Head of Business Development to lead and expand their global footprint. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with extensive experience in apparel manufacturing, particularly in knit products, and a strong track record in international business development. The selected candidate will be based full-time in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and will play a pivotal role in driving growth across multiple product categories and markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and execute global business development strategies to achieve revenue and market expansion goals.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients and partners.
  3. Identify new business opportunities across different product categories and geographic regions.
  4. Collaborate closely with the production and merchandising teams to align customer requirements with manufacturing capabilities.
  5. Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings.
  6. Drive pricing, negotiation, and contract finalization in line with company targets.
  7. Provide regular market intelligence and competitor analysis to support strategic planning.
  8. Lead and mentor a team to support business development initiatives.

PRE-REQUISITES:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the apparel manufacturing industry.
  3. Must have experience in traveling overseas for business development across various product categories.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a global mindset.
  5. Culturally adaptable and willing to relocate to Bangladesh on a full-time basis.
