Location: Multan, Pakistan (On-site/Hybrid)

Job Type: Full-time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM EST (5 PM – 2 AM PST)

We're expanding our engineering team and looking for a DevOps Engineer who thrives in high-performance environments and is ready to take ownership of infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines.

About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer at Nelly IS Marketing, you'll play a critical role in managing CI/CD pipelines, improving deployment processes, and ensuring system reliability and performance. You'll collaborate closely with our development team to maintain smooth and secure operations from code to production.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments (IaC preferred)
  • Monitor application performance, uptime, and security
  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar)
  • Ensure system scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency
  • Work closely with developers to streamline build and release cycles
  • Handle incident response and root cause analysis
  • Maintain proper documentation for systems and processes

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of DevOps experience in a professional environment
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix system administration
  • Familiar with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Working EST hours is required (5 PM – 2 AM PST)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with security and compliance best practices
  • Scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.)
  • Familiarity with backend frameworks — NestJS experience is a plus
