We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) with expertise in Upwork to identify, pitch, and secure new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Upwork's platform, bidding strategies, and client acquisition techniques to drive revenue growth.

This is an onsite position in Karachi, Pakistan and requires working night shifts to align with international client time zones.

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) with expertise in Upwork to identify, pitch, and secure new business opportunities. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of Upwork's platform, bidding strategies, and client acquisition techniques to facilitate revenue growth.

This is an onsite position in Karachi, Pakistan and involves working night shifts to coordinate with international clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and target potential clients on Upwork through strategic proposals and bids.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to refine our approach on Upwork.
  • Craft compelling proposals, cover letters, and portfolios to win projects.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and project terms with clients.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and delivery teams to align strategies.
  • Maintain a high response rate, job success score, and client satisfaction on Upwork.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a BDE, Sales Executive, or Freelancer on Upwork
  • Strong track record of winning projects on Upwork (portfolio/success metrics preferred).
  • Excellent proposal writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and tailor pitches effectively.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with Upwork's algorithms, bidding strategies, and best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM tools, lead tracking, and sales pipelines.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Karachi during night shifts.
