Full-Stack Developer – WordPress & Shopify (Frontend + Backend)

We're seeking a skilled and experienced developer proficient in both front-end and back-end development for WordPress and Shopify platforms. Bonus points for familiarity with Shopify's back-end components such as Liquid, APIs, and custom app logic.

This role involves building fast, SEO-optimized, conversion-focused websites, troubleshooting, and scaling both platforms confidently. The candidate should understand how to develop custom themes, plugins, and optimize high-performing sites in WordPress, as well as implement designs and optimize performance in Shopify.

Responsibilities:
  • Build custom WordPress themes and templates, avoiding bloated page builders.
  • Develop or extend plugins and maintain WordPress sites.
  • Work with ACF, CPTs, WooCommerce, WPML, etc.
  • Implement pixel-perfect Shopify designs from Figma or XD.
  • Optimize Shopify sites for performance, mobile UX, and CRO.
  • Integrate Shopify APIs, build custom apps, and automate scripts.
  • Handle advanced logic like checkout modifications and metafields.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years in WordPress development, capable of handling backend logic.
  • Experience with Shopify front-end, Liquid, Dawn theme, Polaris (plus).
  • Proficiency with Git, deployment workflows, and clean coding practices.
  • Strong UI implementation skills and problem-solving mindset.
