Part-Time Executive Chef in Gujrat

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team on a part-time basis in Gujrat. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. This role offers a salary of $1000 and does not include accommodation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create and update menus according to seasonality and ingredient availability
  2. Ensure all food is prepared to high quality and presentation standards
  3. Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
  4. Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies
  5. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards
  6. Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective strategies for menu planning and pricing
  7. Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures when necessary
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment
  • Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
  • Strong knowledge of various cuisines, ingredients, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment under pressure
  • Good communication skills in English (knowledge of local languages is a plus)
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
