As a Lead Web Developer, you will play a critical leadership role in driving the technical development of client-facing websites, web apps, and internal digital tools. You will oversee the full development lifecycle, manage a small team of developers, and collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver high-performing, SEO-optimized, and user-centric web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end development of web applications and websites for clients across various industries.
  • Set code standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior/mid-level developers.
  • Establish and maintain scalable, maintainable architecture and clean coding practices.
  • Translate client business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure web solutions.

Full Stack Development
  • Front-end: Develop responsive UIs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Vue.js or similar.
  • Back-end: Develop RESTful APIs, business logic, and data services using Node.js, PHP (Laravel), or Python (Django/Flask).
  • Database: Design and manage relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, CMSs (WordPress, Shopify), and analytics tools.

Project Management
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan sprints, allocate tasks, and manage timelines.
  • Monitor development progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide status reports.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and responsive design.

Client Communication
  • Participate in client calls to gather technical requirements and provide progress updates.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations and align with digital marketing goals (SEO, load time, conversion optimization, etc.)

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-6 years of full-stack development experience
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
  • Strong back-end experience with Node.js, Express.js, PHP (Laravel), or Python (Django/Flask).
  • Experience with CMS platforms: WordPress (custom theme/plugin development), Shopify.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations (e.g., CRM, Mailchimp, Stripe).
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control workflows.
  • Familiarity with web hosting platforms, deployment tools, and DevOps basics (Docker, NGINX, cPanel, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of SEO-friendly web development and performance optimization (Lighthouse scores, Core Web Vitals)
