Job Title: Chemistry Teacher for Grades 9-10 (with additional responsibility for Science teaching in Grades 5-8)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chemistry teacher to join our faculty, responsible for teaching Grades 9-10. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to teach Science to students in Grades 5-8. The successful applicant will have a strong background in logical explanation and reasoning, as well as excellent classroom management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach Chemistry to students in Grades 9-10
- Teach Science to students in Grades 5-8
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment
- Manage classroom behavior and promote a culture of respect and inclusivity

Job Specification

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Teaching certification or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching Chemistry and Science to secondary school students
- Strong understanding of logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and control a classroom environment effectively

Nice to Have:

- Experience with curriculum development and implementation
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital resources
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
