We are looking for a skilled DevOps/QA/Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our software products are reliable, scalable, secure, and maintainable through the use of automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment tools.

If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Typescript, security and best practices of code deployments we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
  • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
  • Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
  • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
  • Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and 'fixes'
  • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
  • Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
  • Implement and maintain DevOps and QA processes to ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability of our software products
  • Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or TravisCI
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, and respond to incidents in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensure that security controls are implemented and maintained, and that compliance requirements are met
  • Work with development teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities
  • Maintain and update infrastructure, such as databases, servers, and storage systems
  • Automate repetitive tasks to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency
Qualifications
  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • Excellent understanding of security concepts and best practices, such as secure coding, access controls, and encryption
  • Experience with security assessment and testing tools, such as OWASP ZAP, Nessus, or Burp Suite
  • Proficient with git and git workflows
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Collaborative team spirit
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
  • Deploy updates and fixes
  • Provide Level 2 technical support
  • Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
  • Perform root cause analysis for production errors
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues
  • Develop scripts to automate visualization
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with software engineering, customer experience and Fintech Landscape.
  • Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation
  • Experience defining procedures and processes as best practices to help guide the DevOps strategy.
