The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of backend services, ensuring robust cloud architecture and adherence to best practices. • Architect and design scalable, modular backend systems, ensuring optimal performance and maintainability.
• Define and implement system-level components such as APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain RESTful and WebSocket APIs for seamless frontend-backend communication.
• Implement robust data processing, validation, and business logic layers.
• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using services like AWS or Azure and ensure cloud architecture aligns with industry standards
• Implement efficient deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of services.
• Design and manage relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
• Optimize database queries and manage data modeling for large-scale applications.
• Implement security best practices, including data encryption, secure API communication, and role-based access control.
• Set up and monitor performance metrics for backend services.
• Develop real-time communication features using WebSocket, MQTT, or similar protocols.
• Mentor and guide junior developers to improve code quality and productivity.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and maintainable code.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Node.js and its frameworks.
• Strong understanding of API design principles, including RESTful and WebSocket APIs.
• Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Expertise in database optimization, indexing, and schema design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Expertise in managing cloud services like EC2, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWTs, and encryption protocols (e.g., TLS, AES).
• Experience with real-time data handling protocols like WebSocket or MQTT.
• Proficiency with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools.
• Strong knowledge of Git and workflows like GitFlow or trunk-based development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, AWS Pipeline, or GitLab CI.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Effective communication to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to scalability and maintainability.
• Adaptability to work on multiple projects and domains.
• Experience with serverless architectures is a plus.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, HIPAA) is a plus.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js) for seamless API integration is a plus.
