Job Summary:

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for overseeing sales operations within a designated geographical area. This includes developing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The ASM plays a key role in expanding market share, maintaining customer relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:Sales & Revenue Growth:
  1. Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and market trends.
  3. Monitor competitor activities and implement strategies to gain a competitive edge.
Team Management & Leadership:
  1. Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise sales representatives.
  2. Set clear performance goals and track team progress.
  3. Provide coaching and support to improve sales effectiveness.
Customer Relationship Management:
  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers.
  2. Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently.
  3. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Market Expansion & Strategy Execution:
  1. Conduct market research to identify potential customers and sales channels.
  2. Develop and implement promotional strategies to boost sales.
  3. Work closely with marketing and product teams to enhance brand visibility.
Sales Reporting & Analysis:
  1. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
  2. Analyze sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  3. Provide insights to senior management regarding market trends and sales progress.
Key Requirements:Education & Experience:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
