Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with Pakistan financial regulations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting internal and external audits. This role is crucial to maintaining financial integrity and supporting the company's operations in Lahore/Karachi Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with local labor and tax regulations.
  • Ensure timely filing and payment of all statutory obligations including VAT, income tax, and social security contributions.
  • Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional finance departments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international company.
  • Strong knowledge of Pakistani tax laws, social security, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Logo, or Netsis) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluent and proficient in English (written and spoken).
