EngineeringTech Services (Pvt) Ltd. specializes in Functional Safety, Process/Technical Safety, Project Risk Assessment & Management, and Asset and Operation Integrity for the Chemical, Petrochemical, Power, Oil & Gas sectors and etc. The company offers expert services for Safety Life Cycle Studies, SIL Assessment & Allocation, HAZOP & HAZID facilitation, and other project-related studies including FERA, QRA, 3D F&G Mapping, Hazardous Area Classification, etc. Training sessions are also conducted to enhance the skills of operation and maintenance staff in these fields.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-drivenBusiness Development Engineerto join our team based in Islamabad, Pakistan. The ideal candidate shall have a technical background in process safety, functional safety, or related fields, combined with exceptional business development skills. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving the growth of our safety study and training services across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, fertilizer, and related sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions.
  • Promote the company's portfolio of services, including HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL Assessment, Safety Life Cycle, FERA, QRA, 3D F&G Mapping studies, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline and closing deals.
  • Provide technical support during client consultations, ensuring a deep understanding of their safety requirements.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, progress, and results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or technical roles within the process safety, functional safety, or oil & gas industries.
  • Strong understanding of process safety methodologies, including HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL Assessment, QRA, and related studies.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strategic mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of international safety standards (e.g., IEC 61511, ISO 13702, API standards).
  • Experience in delivering technical training or workshops.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling and Process Safety and Technical Safety tools and softwares.
