Jr DevOps Engineer / SRE (Onsite – Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan)

We are looking for a Jr DevOps Engineer / SRE to join our team onsite in Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan and help us ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage monitoring and observability solutions using Datadog for infrastructure and application performance.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of cloud-native services on Azure.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
• Automate monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows to reduce MTTR and improve operational efficiency.
• Operate ServiceNow for efficient incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and develop preventive solutions for recurring issues.
• Drive continuous improvement of system reliability, performance, and security.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and contribute to a blameless postmortem culture.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Operations Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure services (Azure Monitor, App Services, etc.).
• Expertise in Datadog for observability, monitoring dashboards, custom metrics, and alerting.
• Solid understanding of monitoring systems, logging, tracing, and incident management best practices.
• Experience integrating and working with ServiceNow for ITSM processes.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) is a plus.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

• Certifications in Azure (AZ-104, AZ-400) and/or Datadog.
• Experience with other observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and frameworks.

Note: This role is specifically for professionals with experience in Jr DevOps Engineer, SRE or Cloud Operations. Applications from unrelated fields (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering) will not be considered. This is a full-time onsite position based in Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab, Pakistan. Candidates must be available to work from this location.

Salary: Up to $1000 USD per month, based on skills and experience.
