Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in building data pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and working with AI/ML workflows. This role requires hands-on experience with LLM tuning and GCP's Vertex AI platform for deploying production-grade AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for AI/ML workflows.
• Fine-tune and train LLM models to meet business-specific objectives.
• Build and manage data processing systems for both batch and real-time streaming.
• Deploy and monitor models using Vertex AI , including Model Monitoring and Explainable AI.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and integrity across large datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ML engineers, software developers, data scientists).
• Enhance model and pipeline performance using GCP-native tools like BigQuery and Cloud Storage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, ML, or related field.
• 3+ years in data engineering roles focused on scalable pipeline and cloud deployments.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP (especially Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Dataflow).
• Experience in fine-tuning and deploying LLMs.
• Knowledge of cloud data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and Terraform.
• Familiarity with LangChain, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and vector databases.
• Understanding of LLM architectures and optimization methods.
• Previous experience building enterprise AI solutions.
