Software Development Team Lead

About Us

We're an early-stage tech startup working on scalable digital products with real-world impact. We're not here to build "just another app" we're building a long-term business with solid tech foundations and a clear growth vision. We're now hiring a Software Development Team Lead, someone who can lead the dev team, own product delivery, and work closely with the founding team on both technical and strategic fronts.

Type: Full-Time and Onsite

Compensation: Competitive Salary + Revenue Share / Performance Bonus

Who We're Looking For

A senior developer with leadership capability, someone who can write high-quality code and manage people, timelines, and software performance. A professional who:

  • Leads the full development lifecycle
  • Mentors and manages a small but growing dev team
  • Works hands-on in full-stack projects
  • Occasionally supports in client demos or technical sales calls

This role has potential to grow into a CTO-track for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the development team
  • Architect and deliver features in sprints, on time and at quality
  • Remain hands-on with coding, code reviews, and deployments
  • Work with UI/UX, founders, and sales teams to align product with market
  • Translate business goals into scalable technical solutions
  • Join client meetings or demos for technical insight when required

You should be confident working with most of the following:

  • Frontend: React.js, Next.js, Tailwind CSS
  • Backend: Node.js, Express.js, Python (Django or FastAPI is a plus)
  • Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Vercel, Docker, GitHub Actions, NGINX
  • Tools: Jira, Notion, Figma, Postman

KPIs You'll Be Measured On

  • Sprint completion timelines and release quality
  • Team velocity and code performance
  • System uptime and bug resolution speed
  • Collaboration effectiveness with other departments
  • Technical support provided in sales/client conversions

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of professional experience in software development
  • Strong hands-on experience with modern tech stacks
  • Proven ability to lead or mentor developers
  • Experience with scalable architecture and cloud infrastructure
  • Excellent communication across dev and non-dev teams
