Job Title: Full Stack Java Developer (Minimum 4+ Years of Experience)

Experience Level: Mid to Senior-Level (4–6+ years)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Java Developer to join our growing team in Islamabad. This is a client-facing role working directly with our US-based client, requiring strong communication skills. The ideal candidate should have deep technical expertise, the ability to understand complex architectures, and the capability to break down requirements for a development team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with US-based clients and internal teams to design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Vue.js/Angular.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, break down requirements into development tasks, and lead feature implementation.
  • Design and optimize RESTful APIs, system architectures, and database schemas.
  • Take ownership of modules/components ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Engage in code reviews, write clean, maintainable code, and follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
  • Work closely with DevOps, QA, and Product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Mentor junior developers and participate in technical decision-making.
  • Create detailed technical documentation, support CI/CD pipelines, and help troubleshoot production issues.
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools, technologies, and best practices.

Key Requirements

  • 4+ years of full-stack development experience including at least 3+ years with Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA).
  • Strong experience in frontend technologies such as Vue.js, Angular, or React.js.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, microservices architecture, and modern SDLC.
  • Familiar with MySQL and other relational databases; proficiency in SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
  • Ability to understand and contribute to high-level architectural designs.
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments and with remote US clients.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills (client-facing).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Java 17+, Kafka, Cassandra, NoSQL databases.
  • Prior work in financial systems, order management, or blockchain-based applications.
  • Understanding of Prometheus, Grafana, and monitoring systems.
  • Experience with Quasar, WebFlux, and functional programming in Java.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of market-making systems, risk hedging, or digital asset exchanges.
