We are looking to add talented Backend Engineers to our team, who will work on building enterprise-class video streaming and processing applications. The position requires exceptional knowledge and skills in Back-end development, such as Web API, Service Stack, integrations with Cloud PaaS, etc.

We provide Video Content Management systems to Fortune 5000 companies across the globe and are recognized in Gartner's Magic Quadrant. Our systems enable our customers to deliver Live and On-Demand Video Streaming, store and share multimedia content, and perform Video and Audio Analysis using Machine Learning.

Backend Engineers create the Web Application server stack that powers our products, providing APIs to the front end and back-end integrations with external systems, as well as backend data processing pipelines. This involves building scalable, secure, and elastic systems supporting cloud and on-premise deployments, using technologies like Web Application frameworks, Services, Cloud PaaS, and high-performance data processing.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build server-side web technology stack providing APIs for various products and integrations.
  • Develop and enhance backend processing pipelines to meet evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Analysts, Web Engineers, and other Front-end and Back-end engineers to support new features.
  • Ensure the backend stack is secure, scalable, elastic, and capable of supporting millions of concurrent users.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing of modules and participate in weekly bug bash activities.
  • Perform peer code reviews to improve code quality.
  • Follow Agile/SCRUM practices and work with Product Managers to maintain product backlog.
  • Propose and adopt new technologies and trends.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with server-side web application technologies such as ASP.NET, Java Spring/Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python.
  • Experience designing and developing APIs and middleware.
  • Proficient understanding of frameworks like .NET, Java, etc.
  • Experience designing scalable applications.
  • Strong skills in design patterns and logic development.
  • 6-7 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core, .NET libraries, and Windows services.
  • Experience with SignalR, gRPC, or WebSockets.
  • Experience with cloud services like Azure, AWS, or Google PaaS.
  • Experience with system-level programming such as sockets, multi-threading, or distributed applications.
  • Experience with video streaming technologies or encoders/decoders.
Qualifications
  • BSc or higher in Computer Science.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude.
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Legal authorization to work.
