Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced
Senior Backend Engineers (Java)
to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate is passionate about backend engineering, has hands-on experience building scalable Java-based microservices, and thrives in a SaaS product environment. Familiarity with modern engineering practices—such as CI/CD, DevOps culture, and microservices architecture—is essential. Experience with Go or scripting languages like Python is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    robust, scalable, and secure Java-based microservices
    .
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to
    translate business requirements into technical solutions
    .
  • Participate in
    Agile processes
    (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives) and contribute to team velocity and product delivery.
  • Conduct
    code reviews
    , write
    unit/integration tests
    , and perform
    system-level testing
    to ensure code quality.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide
    production support
    as needed.
  • Provide
    technical mentorship
    to junior developers and ensure alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
  • Optimize
    algorithms, data structures
    , and
    system performance
    .
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
  • Write
    automation scripts
    (e.g., in Python) to support development and deployment workflows.
  • Contribute to
    full-stack development
    in collaboration with frontend and DevOps teams.
  • Maintain
    technical documentation
    for backend services, system architecture, and APIs.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and design of new features or improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Engineering
    , or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years
    of hands-on experience in
    Java (Spring Boot preferred)
    backend development.
  • Proficiency in
    MySQL
    , including writing complex queries, performance optimization, and schema design.
  • Experience with
    Redis
    for caching and state management.
  • Familiarity with
    Kafka
    ,
    RabbitMQ
    or similar message brokers in an event-driven system.
  • Strong understanding of
    RESTful APIs
    , microservices architecture, and system design principles.
  • Knowledge of
    security principles
    ,
    API rate limiting
    , and
    data protection
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    version control tools
    like Git.
  • Previous experience in a
    B2B
    SaaS product environment
    is a strong plus.
