We are a fast-growing IT agency specializing in helping startup founders and B2B SaaS businesses bring their digital products to life. From MVP development to full-scale app and product development, we provide tailored solutions that drive startup success. Our team combines technical excellence with strategic insight to deliver impactful software, and we're now looking for a dedicated IT Sales Engineer to join our client acquisition team.
Job OverviewAs an IT Sales Engineer , you will serve as the first point of contact for potential clients—primarily startup and SaaS founders. You'll be responsible for engaging inbound and outbound leads, conducting discovery calls, qualifying prospects, and guiding them through the early stages of our sales pipeline. Your technical understanding and consultative sales approach will be crucial in presenting tailored solutions and coordinating with internal teams to move deals forward.
The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, confident in client-facing interactions, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly to leads across platforms (LinkedIn, Upwork, email, etc.) using the most appropriate communication channel.
- Conduct discovery meetings with startup and SaaS founders to understand their business needs and product vision.
- Qualify leads based on criteria like budget, project scope, timeline, and decision-making authority.
- Nurture long-term relationships with prospects not ready to convert immediately.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to prepare personalized proposals or schedule demos.
- Keep all communication, meeting notes, and lead updates organized and updated in the CRM (Dolibarr or equivalent).
- Actively track and manage leads through every stage of the sales pipeline.
- Provide consistent feedback to the marketing team to refine and improve lead generation efforts.
- Ensure seamless handoff of closed deals to the project delivery team with full documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT sales or technical business development.
- Strong understanding of software development services such as MVPs, apps, and product platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple leads and maintain strong relationships with prospects.
- Familiarity with CRMs (Dolibarr experience is a plus) and lead qualification frameworks.
- A self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset and a passion for startups and innovation.
