Job Title: Data Orchestration Engineer

This role will be responsible for creating data orchestration with Azure Data Factory Pipelines & Dataflows. Key responsibilities include understanding the business requirements and implementing reporting using Power BI.

Responsibilities
  • Data Insight Generation: Understand business requirements and actively provide inputs from a data perspective.
  • Data Understanding: Understand the underlying data and flow of data.
  • Pipeline Development: Build simple to complex pipelines & dataflows in ADF.
  • Security Implementation: Implement modules that have security and authorization frameworks.
  • Adaptability: Recognize and adapt to changes in processes as the project evolves in size and function.
  • Visualization and Reporting: Implement visualization and traditional reporting in Power BI.
Job Specification
  • Azure Expertise: Expert level knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Power BI.
  • Analytics Experience: Analytics experience, with real estate and finance domain knowledge.
  • Advanced Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of Azure SQL DB & Synapse Analytics, Power BI, SSIS, SSAS, and Logic Apps.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze and understand complex data.
  • Security Implementation: Security implementation like RLS in Power BI and data governance in Azure.
  • Cloud Services: Knowledge of Azure Data Lake, SQL Databases, Stream Analytics, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD.
  • Database Design: Experience in data modeling and database design with excellent knowledge of SQL Server best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to communicate at various levels with clarity & precision.
  • Agile Environment: Clear understanding of DW lifecycle and contribute to preparing design documents, unit test plans, and code review reports.
  • Additional Skills: Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Lean, Kanban) is a plus.
  • Bonus Skills: Knowledge of data bricks is a plus, as well as big data technologies – Spark Framework, NoSQL, Azure Data Bricks, and Hadoop Ecosystem (Hive, Impala, HDFS, YARN, Pig, Oozie).
