Basic Responsibility / Function:

The Manager Financial Reporting is responsible for overseeing the preparation, analysis, and timely submission of financial statements and regulatory reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial transparency, accuracy, and alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.


• Preparation of Company's statutory financial statements along with related notes & disclosures as per the timelines provided by the senior management.


• Preparation of Company's monthly management financial statements along with related notes & disclosures as per the timelines provided by the senior management.


• Ensuring that all the related party transactions are accounted for along with their complete documentation and disclosed as per statutory requirements and company's internal policies.


• Ensuring that the statutory audit is concluded within the agreed time lines with minimum audit observations.


• Establishing relationship with banks RM's to ensure that the funds are available with PCICL at all times by provision of required documents.


• Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and standards, ensuring the organization remains compliant.


• Liaise with auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders to address queries and concerns.


• Safe keeping of all legal documents mainly pertaining to funds / facilities.


• Ensuring that banks are reconciled with GL at each month end.


• Maintenance of chart of account and ledger reconciliations such as cost centre income/ expense, payables/receivables, and other department's income/expense etc.


• Performing any other assignments, assigned by HOD or senior management.

Qualification & Experience:

ACCA or CA Inter with at least 6 years of experience (Articles included) OR Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or equivalent with 7 years of experience in the financial sector.

Skills


• Strong knowledge of IFRS, SBP regulations, and financial compliance requirements in Pakistan.


• Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.


• Advanced knowledge of financial reporting software


• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills


• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.


• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
