Job Summary:

The Medical Biller will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing medical bills, claims, and invoices. The successful candidate will collaborate with healthcare providers, different attorneys. The Medical Biller will be responsible for compiling comprehensive billing packages for each patient, which include HCFA forms, general ledgers, and supporting medical documents. These packages must be prepared with attention to detail and sent to the respective attorneys in a timely manner, ensuring all required information is complete and properly formatted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HCFA Claim Preparation form:Submit the HCFA claim form along with the general ledger and all associated bills for each service provided.
  • Billing Inquiries: Handle and resolve all inquiries related to medical bills, HCFA forms, and patients' general documentation.
  • Payment Posting:Post payments and reconcile discrepancies inbillingrecords.
  • Regulatory Compliance:Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations andbillingguidelines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medicalbillingis a plus.
  • 1 - 2years of experience in medicalbillingor a related field.
  • Knowledge of billingprocesses.
  • Proficiency in usingEHRsoftware.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
