As a DevOps Engineer at Dubizzle Labs, you will ensure our services are healthy, monitored, automated, and designed to scale. You'll use your background as an operations generalist to work closely with our development teams from the early stages of design through to identifying and resolving production issues. You will support a wide range of products focusing on automation, availability, performance, and above all, reliability.

Requirements
  1. Serve as a primary point responsible for the overall health, performance, efficiency, and capacity of our production environment.
  2. Participate in the implementation and design of systems used to operate Dubizzle, with a focus on automation and maintainability at large scale.
  3. Experience in building large CI/CD processes (experience with Github Actions & Jenkins is preferred).
  4. Collaborate with the development team on operations-related issues, providing support and acting as a stakeholder.
  5. Provide fast and reliable development environments for product teams by maintaining production-like environments used for development and testing.
  6. Develop tools to effectively monitor custom applications in a large-scale environment.
  7. Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack – hardware, software, application, and network.
  8. Migrate applications off legacy environments with minimal downtime.
  9. Participate in a shared 24x7 on-call rotation.
  10. Document system design and procedures.
Experience & Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with significant experience in DevOps.
  2. AWS Solutions Architect certification.
  3. 4+ years of experience supporting hosted services in a high-volume customer-facing environment.
  4. Experience with DevOps tools, processes, culture, distributed systems, and supporting mission-critical systems.
  5. Experience working on Continuous Integration / Delivery pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Github Actions.
  6. Proven ability to write programs/utilities using high-level programming languages like Go, Ruby, Python, as well as Bash.
  7. 3+ years of proven experience managing infrastructure at scale using container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  8. Experience migrating from traditional technology stacks to AWS EKS or similar.
