
Assistant Manager – SPM

MBA preferably in Supply Chain from an HEC-recognized university with at least 2 years of experience.
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Experience with PPRA rules and regulations is preferred.
Responsibilities:Job SummaryThe main mandate of this position is to assist the Manager SPM in all SCM-related activities, including preparing and maintaining the management information system (MIS) of vendors, suppliers, and contractors engaged in business activities. The job includes assisting in vendor record management, maintaining existing record systems in Oracle ERP database, coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and contractors throughout procurement processes, and ensuring transparency and positive company image.
Job Responsibilities- Assist in enlisting new suppliers in Oracle ERP for tendering, verifying active taxpayer status from FBR, SRB, BRA, and PEC portals.
- Create and categorize vendor accounts in Oracle ERP, and prepare documentation for releasing payments upon department requests.
- Add new supplier sites to existing vendor accounts in Oracle ERP, updating vendor information as necessary.
- Update existing vendor records in Oracle ERP upon request, including address, contact, and other relevant details.
- Support in deactivating vendor accounts that have been debarred or blacklisted, notifying relevant departments, and coordinating with IT for website updates.
- Assist in restoring vendor accounts after debarment periods, informing departments, and coordinating with IT for removal from the website.
- Handle correspondence with vendors, contractors, and departments to resolve record and case file queries.
- Prepare and provide status reports on Capital Budget items, Service Contracts, and Store Stock requirements, extracting data from Oracle ERP.
- Create new item codes in the Item Master Oracle Database, ensuring proper descriptions and categorizations.
- Assist in preparing Purchase Requisitions based on procurement needs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and responsibilities, comply with risk management frameworks, and participate in risk management activities.
- Undertake any other assignments as instructed by the supervisor.
