We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Specialist to join us for a short two months contract.

As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Social Media strategy for our new product launch. We are happy to hire an expert who would like Job share as we are in the UK, and if you can manage to give us reasonable hours after your current job we can accommodate that for the right candidate.

We can also consider graduates from a top Pakistani university with a degree in online marketing with the right skills to create marketing campaigns online, both paid and unpaid.

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for organizing and running marketing campaigns over social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok).
  2. Create content, including text posts, video, and images for use on social media on a daily basis. Photoshop skills would be extremely important along with animated video creation.
  3. Generate, edit, publish, and share content daily (original text, images, video, and HTML).
  4. Promote products, services, and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with our organization's brand and social media strategy.
  5. Define strategy for press releases and pre-launch strategies.
  6. Schedule social media posts using applications such as Hootsuite and TweetDeck.
  7. Interact with customers and deal with customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback on social media platforms.
  8. Define landing page strategies to capture customer emails for pre-launch.
  9. Manage a budget to be spent on promoting social media posts and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.
  10. Keep track of data and analyze the performance of social media campaigns and adjust accordingly.
  11. Approach influencers on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook for shoutouts both free and paid.

Requirements:

  • A strong editing and writing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful tweet to using effective storytelling techniques.
  • Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and search engine optimization.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent teamwork and networking skills.
  • Online community management and customer service skills to strike the balance between publicity and stimulating direct discussion with potential and actual customers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Photo and video editing experience.
  • Ability to multitask, to work on a number of projects at once.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Incredible attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of content management systems.

Work from home, therefore own laptop/internet is required.

Can be based anywhere.

Contract Details:

Two months contract for our product launch which can be extended a little as well depending on launch.

PKR 20K per month, if launch is successful we will also give a handsome bonus.
