General Summary:

This role involves leading Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and security orchestration within a 24x7 Cyber Defense Center. The position requires availability during weekends, nights, and off-hours to support organizational needs. People management is essential, with a focus on upskilling CDC analysts in automation and data protection, mentoring for innovation, and improving operational efficiency. The role also involves driving staff retention through engagement strategies, ensuring maximum operational coverage, and managing KPIs related to operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include managing problem resolution, leading shift handovers, participating in stakeholder meetings, analyzing patterns and anomalies from SOC escalations, and aligning with the CDC's innovation roadmap. The role emphasizes automation and AI/ML integration to enhance response capabilities and policy enforcement.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, with 3+ years of cybersecurity experience, or high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Physical ability to transport and install equipment up to 40 lbs.
  • Over 8 years of professional IT experience, including automation and people management.
  • Strong programming skills, experience with automation projects, and awareness of current security threats, especially in data protection.
  • Mandatory knowledge of DLP tools; CASB knowledge is essential.
  • Proficiency in DLP investigations, excellent problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, Security+, OSCP, and familiarity with ITIL V3.0, SAFe Agilist are a plus.
  • Degree qualifications include Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or Cyber Security.
  • 6+ years in Information Security, with at least 3 years managing 24x7 security operations teams.
