Applications are invited for the posts of Research Associate and Field Assistant under research project no. 20-1620/R&D/10 funded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, entitled "Extinct Bovids from the Dhok Pathan Formation of the district Chakwal in the Siwaliks of northern Pakistan".

Research Associate
  • The candidate must possess a B.S. (Hons)/M.Sc. in Zoology/Wildlife from an organization, preferably from Government College University, Faisalabad.
  • The candidate should have two first divisions and no third division in their academic career.
  • Preference will be given to M.Phil. scholars from Government College University, Faisalabad.
  • The candidate must have knowledge about paleontology.
  • The candidate must not be engaged in any government or private job.
  • The appointment will be for two years at Rs. 13,000/month lump sum (additional qualifications will not be credited).
  • After appointment, the candidate must follow GCUF-HEC and provincial government employment rules and will be required to sign a bond for the entire duration of the project.
  • The institute reserves the right to decrease the number of seats.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
  • The institute is not responsible if call letters are delayed or not received due to courier or postal issues.
Field Assistant
  • The candidate must have Matric with Science.
  • The appointment is for two years at Rs. 6,000/month lump sum (additional qualifications will not be credited). Preference will be given to those already working in the Department of Zoology, Wildlife, and Fisheries.
  • After appointment, the candidate must follow GCUF-HEC and provincial government employment rules and will be required to sign a bond for the entire duration of the project.
  • The institute reserves the right to decrease the number of seats.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
  • The institute is not responsible if call letters are delayed or not received due to courier or postal issues.
