WRP is seeking a Senior Automation Quality Assurance (QA) engineer responsible for developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. The role involves designing and implementing tests, debugging, defining corrective actions, reviewing system requirements, and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.

Experience
  • 3-4 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation)
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and libraries for web and mobile, including Selenium, Robot Framework, Appium, TestNG, and Jenkins
  • Knowledge of web technologies: HTML, JavaScript, XML, CSS, SQL
  • Experience with API and integration testing using Python (Pytest framework)
  • Experience with web application performance testing tools like Locust or JMeter
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative automated testing strategies and quality assurance processes
  • Write maintainable, robust test automation code
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies and undertake sprint tasks, including supporting test plan development, creating manual and automated tests, reviewing stories, code, and tests, and executing tests throughout the development lifecycle
  • Utilize BDD/TDD approaches to execute test plans and develop test cases
  • Follow agile testing practices and adopt a test-first approach for various test types
  • Create, maintain, and monitor automated test scripts to ensure coverage and quality
  • Coordinate with developers, DevOps, product managers, and program managers to ensure application quality
  • Collaborate to improve testability and robustness of the codebase
  • Provide feedback to engineering teams and ensure business requirements are met
  • Support continuous integration, automated testing, and release management tools
  • Mentor junior QA engineers strategically and technically
  • Analyze requirements to develop testing scenarios and plans
  • Raise and review defects, translating issues into actionable items
  • Experience with test management tools and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in programming languages and design patterns
  • Experience in e-commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, OMS, and supply chain is a plus

  • Strong communication skills in English and ability to influence across organizational levels
  • Understanding of QA and testing within Agile environments
  • Deep knowledge of testing concepts, processes, and activities
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and participate in production deployments
  • Passion for delivering high-quality features and end-to-end scenarios
  • Experience in bug reporting and tracking
