The Division
InnoSoft Canada creates Fusion + Fusion Family suite of products, focusing on recreation management software that enhances community well-being through technology. Operating under Jonas Software Group, part of Constellation Software, we serve clients globally, from Sydney to Vancouver.

The Position
As a Product Designer, you will collaborate cross-functionally with research, development, and product teams to enhance our recreation software products. We seek an experienced designer capable of leading iterative design processes, working with technical leads and product owners to refine UI/UX, and contributing to a seamless user experience.

Your Day-to-day Activities Typically Involve

  • Advocating for excellent user experience across our software suite, including POS, e-commerce, league management, and mobile apps.
  • Conducting customer research and usability testing.
  • Translating user stories into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Applying industry-best design practices, explaining design rationale.
  • Collaborating with developers to implement designs.
  • Maintaining and expanding visual pattern libraries and style guides.
  • Validating designs through user testing.
  • Driving design thinking and UX collaboration across products.
  • Working within an Agile (Scrum) environment.
  • Interfacing with customers and stakeholders to understand needs and goals.
  • Contributing to the company's product roadmap and vision.

You Possess Some Of The Following Skills/Experience/Interest

  • Degree/diploma in Design, Graphic Design, User Experience Design, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in typography, color theory, layout, responsive design, and user-centered principles.
  • Knowledge of current design trends and standards.
  • Experience with Flutter is a plus.
  • Understanding of Accessible Design (WCAG).
  • Proficiency with Figma or similar tools.
  • Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies.
  • Ability to use data to inform design decisions.
  • Experience with usertesting.com platform.
  • Familiarity with Google's Material Design framework.
