Position: Regional Sales Manager

Reporting to: Regional Director Sales & Distribution Central III

Job Type: Permanent

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee all sales and distribution activities within the assigned cluster, ensuring seamless operations and continuous growth.
  2. Conduct regular market visits to monitor stock availability and drive consistent increase in market penetration for Zong products.
  3. Enforce distribution policies and maintain strict discipline across the territory.
  4. Supervise Grid Managers, providing guidance to help them manage their teams effectively and achieve their targets.
  5. Evaluate potential outlets based on key criteria, including the number of shops, coverage, financial and logistical strength, brand affiliations, and reputation.
  6. Keep channel partners well-informed on updates related to SOPs, targets, and trade promotions.
  7. Ensure that the sales team is fully trained, equipped, and knowledgeable about all company products.
  8. Cultivate a professional environment that fosters strong business relationships with franchises, distributors, and trade partners.
  9. Coordinate timely payments of incentives and commissions to franchises, retailers, and trade partners, ensuring no delays.
  10. Maintain adherence to pricing and margin policies across the entire sales channel, from distributors to sub-distributors and retailers.
  11. Ensure that franchises and retailers always have sufficient POS materials, and that these materials are prominently displayed in all outlets.
  12. Enforce compliance with the company's rules, policies, and procedures.
  13. Address and resolve any commission, payout, and legal queries from channel partners to their utmost satisfaction.
  14. Identify and address challenges faced by franchise and retail channels in the territory, communicating these issues to the Regional Director or relevant departments.
  15. Focus on individual franchises, providing support to resolve their issues and motivating them to meet their targets.
  16. Collaborate with the Trade Marketing team to coordinate BTL activities, trade promotions, business development, and special events within the territories.

  • In principle, have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or above.
