With the global growth of Constellation as the wind in our sails, we are only just getting startedThe Division: We're a software company building in-store POS and eCommerce solutions for liquor retailers—from fast, compliant checkout to real-time inventory and seamless online ordering. We ship frequently, listen closely to customers, and sweat the details that keep stores selling smoothly.The Position You'll partner day-to-day with a Product Manager to ensure new features and platform changes are thoroughly tested, clearly documented, and ready for prime time. You'll design test strategies, execute manual and automated tests, validate data flows, and provide crisp, actionable feedback to engineering and product. This is a hands-on, mid-level role for someone who loves breaking things constructively and making them better. The successful hire will be located and work out of the Contour Software Karachi office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department. Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to translate business requirements and acceptance criteria into clear test plans, test cases, and exploratory charters.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across web, mobile web, and POS; track and verify fixes.
• Document defects with high-quality reproduction steps, logs, screenshots/videos; triage issues and help prioritize with PM/Engineering.
• Validate end-to-end flows critical to liquor retail: inventory sync, catalog/pricing, taxes, promotions/discounts, loyalty, carts/checkout, payments/refunds, order routing (delivery/in-store pickup), and age verification.
• Test POS peripherals and payments: barcode scanners, cash drawers, receipt printers, PIN pads; sanity-check EMV/contactless flows.
• Perform API testing (REST/GraphQL), review payloads, and confirm data integrity between services, analytics, and reporting.
• Run cross-browser/device testing and basic performance checks; raise accessibility findings (e.g., WCAG considerations) for customer-facing pages.
• Contribute to and maintain regression suites; identify candidates for automation and collaborate on coverage.
• Own test environments data/setup; manage test accounts, feature flags, and release checklists.
• Participate in ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos); contribute to release notes and customer-facing "known issues."
• Monitor production after releases (smoke checks, dashboards, error logs) and drive quick, clear incident reporting.
• Continuously improve QA process, tooling, and coding standards for test assets. Note: this is not an exhaustive list of duties; scope may evolve with the product.Required Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in QA/Software Testing for SaaS, POS, or eCommerce products.
• Strong manual testing skills with a nose for edge cases and data-driven validation.
• Proficiency with issue tracking and test management (e.g., Jira, Linear, TestRail/Xray).
• Working knowledge of API testing tools (Postman/Insomnia), JSON, browser devtools, and log capture (e.g., Charles/Fiddler).
• Comfortable querying data (basic SQL) to validate back-end results and reports.
• Exposure to UI test automation (e.g., Playwright/Cypress/Selenium)—able to write, run, and debug basic scripts or collaborate with SDET/engineers.
• Clear, concise communication: you write excellent bug reports and can articulate risk and priority.
• Organized, self-directed, and pragmatic about balancing coverage vs. speed.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
