Job Family Definition:

The Cloud Developer builds solutions from the ground up to meet mission-critical application needs, seeking innovative approaches to deliver end-to-end technical solutions that solve customer problems. This role involves breaking down complex data, engineering new ideas, and implementing cloud-based solutions. Collaboration with project managers and development partners is essential to ensure effective delivery, deployment, operation, monitoring, and support of cloud engagements. The Cloud Developer also contributes to expanding HPE's Cloud Services portfolio across multiple systems, platforms, and applications.

Management Level Definition:

This role impacts the technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainably. It requires advanced subject matter expertise, solving complex issues, and providing mentorship and leadership within teams.

What You Will Do:

1. Experiment, design, develop, and maintain machine learning models and pipelines with high potential for value and scale.
2. Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, product managers, and other engineers for successful implementation.
3. Research and test new machine learning algorithms; conduct training, evaluation, and integration of models.
4. Evaluate new technologies and tools for machine learning.
5. Maintain and update existing ML systems.
6. Develop, productionize, and operate ML models and pipelines at scale, including real-time and batch processing.
7. Work with large-scale structured and unstructured data, improving ML models continuously.
8. Lead project teams in designing and developing complex cloud products, including solution design, coding, testing, and integration.
9. Review designs and code for compliance with standards.
10. Provide feedback to improve product quality and mitigate risks.
11. Represent engineering in technical forums and mentor team members.
12. Drive innovation and integrate new technologies into projects.
13. Analyze complex data processing problems to develop solutions.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
• Typically, 7-10 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with Golang is preferred.
• Understanding microservice architecture, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with designing and integrating software systems across platforms.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, debugging, and scripting.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with senior management.
