What is Assistant Manager – PMO?

The Assistant Manager – PMO is responsible for the end-to-end delivery and governance of strategic and operational projects. This role involves managing all phases of the project lifecycle—initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure—while ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets. The role also ensures effective cross-functional coordination, stakeholder communication, and the application of standardized project management methodologies.

What Assistant Manager PMO - MMBL does?

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project work plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely execution and adherence to project milestones.

Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track progress and performance metrics against the project plan.
  • Identify and address deviations, risks, and bottlenecks proactively.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to leadership and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between teams, leadership, and clients.
  • Maintain continuous communication to align expectations and address concerns.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings and provide regular project status updates.

Methodology & Process Governance:

  • Apply project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models.
  • Ensure compliance with PMO standards and organizational governance protocols.
  • Support the improvement of internal project processes and tools.

Team Collaboration & Risk Management:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Promote collaboration, manage conflicts, and encourage accountability.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Assistant Manager PMO- MMBL?

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, PMO, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in delivering cross-functional projects successfully.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) is preferred.
