Job Title: Junior Manager Cold Chain

Job Description: We are seeking a Junior Manager Cold Chain to oversee and optimize cold chain operations, ensuring efficient temperature-controlled logistics, storage, and distribution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining product integrity, compliance with regulatory standards, and improving supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cold Chain Management: Monitor and manage the transportation, storage, and distribution of temperature-sensitive products.
  2. Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP guidelines.
  3. Process Optimization: Implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce wastage, and minimize temperature deviations.
  4. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with logistics partners, warehouses, and suppliers to maintain cold chain integrity.
  5. Technology & Monitoring: Utilize temperature tracking systems and data analytics to ensure real-time monitoring of cold chain operations.
  6. Inventory & Stock Control: Ensure proper handling and storage of perishable goods to prevent loss.
  7. Team Management: Train and guide warehouse and logistics personnel on cold chain best practices.
  8. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare reports on temperature deviations, cost analysis, and process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
  1. Education: Degree in Chemicals, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years in cold chain logistics, preferably in FMCG, food, or pharmaceutical industry.
  3. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of refrigeration systems, temperature monitoring devices, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and optimize logistics processes.
  5. Communication & Coordination: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
