1. Controller of Examinations (BPS-20)

Mode of Appointment: Three (03) years on contract, not extendable

Age: 40-50 years (age relaxation as per government rules)

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in any discipline from a recognized university or degree-awarding institute recognized by HEC; and
  • Eight years post-qualification teaching, administrative, or professional experience in an HEC-recognized public or private university, degree-awarding institute, or public sector organization, OR MS/M.Phil with 18 years of education and at least 2nd division; and
  • Ten years post-qualification experience in similar institutions, OR MA/MSc with 16 years of education and at least 2nd division; and
  • Twelve years post-qualification experience in similar institutions.
2. Teaching Assistant (BPS-16) for University Community College

(Temporary, likely to become permanent)

Number of Positions: Biology (1), Chemistry (1), Commerce (2), Computer Science (2), English (2), Mathematics (1), Pakistan Studies (1), Physics (1), Urdu (1)

Age Limit: 21-35 years

Qualification & Experience: MA/M.Sc. (1st division) from a recognized university

3. Assistant (BPS-16)

Number of Positions: 10 (Temporary, likely to become permanent)

Age Limit: 18-25 years

Qualification & Experience: Graduate (2nd division) from a recognized university; knowledge of word processing and typing preferred

Instructions
  • Download the latest prescribed application and bio-data form from the university website (http://www.gcuf.edu.pk) and submit it to the recruitment cell with a demand draft as specified below.
  • Application fee: Rs. 3000 for Controller of Examinations; Rs. 1000 for BPS-16 positions, payable to the Treasurer, Government College University, Faisalabad. Requests for form by post should include a written request, a self-addressed large envelope, and Rs. 30 postage stamps.
  • Applicants with foreign degrees must attach HEC equivalence certificates.
  • Current government employees must apply through proper channels with NOC and service certificates; incomplete applications will be rejected.
  • Applications received after the deadline or incomplete will not be entertained.
  • Applicants for multiple posts must submit separate applications.
  • Already employed candidates must apply through proper channels with departmental permission.
  • The university reserves the right to withdraw or not fill any position.
  • Complete applications must reach the recruitment cell by 31-03-2021.
Note
  • 3% quota for persons with disabilities; proof required. Such candidates are exempt from the application fee.
  • 5% quota for minorities.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
