Junior Unity Developer

Job Overview

Narsun Studios is looking for a Junior Unity Developer to join our passionate game development team. This is a great opportunity for a developer with up to 1–2 years of experience who is eager to build immersive gaming experiences and grow in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing core game mechanics, user interfaces, and animations using Unity.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and senior developers to turn ideas into playable features.
  • Help in optimizing games for performance and smooth gameplay on various platforms.
  • Support in identifying and resolving bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
  • Integrate basic SDKs, plugins, and analytics tools as needed.
  • Write clean and well-documented code under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Contribute to different stages of the game development lifecycle, including prototyping, testing, and release.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience with Unity and C# in a professional or academic setting.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and basic game development principles.
  • Familiarity with Unity components such as UI, particle systems, and animations.
  • Basic knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Strong eagerness to learn and improve in a collaborative team setting.
  • Passion for games and interest in building great user experiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to mobile development (Android/iOS) or WebGL platforms.
  • Understanding of multiplayer systems or networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with ad integration and analytics tools.
  • Experience with testing and debugging tools within Unity.
