Civil Engineering with expertise in Project Planning and GC Estimation

TSI Engineering Inc. (TSI) is a USA-based General Contractor specializing in commercial and heavy civil engineering construction. Our corporate headquarters is located inCalifornia, USA.

We are currently seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team and work from our remote office in Faisalabad (Pakistan). The role supports our U.S.-based operations. Working hours will be 8:00 pm – 5:00 am (Pakistan Standard Time). Email your resume at mubashar@tsi3.com.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, technical proposals, and bid documents for US-based construction projects.
  • Communicate effectively in English with vendors and subcontractors based in the USA.
  • Issue RFQs and gather quotes from qualified subcontractors/vendors.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications for quantity takeoffs and BOQs.
  • Understand US Federal (FAR) and State-level contracting requirements.
  • Analyze and negotiate vendor/subcontractor quotes.
  • Create and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Coordinate with project managers and prepare weekly/monthly work plans.
  • Prepare submittals, quality control plans, and maintain related logs.
  • Support procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials to the site.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (M.S. in Construction Management preferred).
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience, ideally with US-based construction projects.
  • Proficient in estimation software, CAD, Excel, and project management tools.
  • Experience with Buildertrend, RSMeans, and Primavera P6 is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of construction systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently during night shifts.
