Job Description:

  1. Report to either a principal or a Senior Business Analyst.
  2. Support the development of detailed requirements by considering client needs, product specifications, and market demands.
  3. Conduct thorough analysis to identify business objectives, functional requirements, and system constraints.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with project and organizational goals.
  5. Prepare and maintain comprehensive functional user stories, ensuring all system components and operational needs are documented.
  6. Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  7. Monitor deliverables to ensure they meet defined requirements and project timelines.
  8. Maintain familiarity with payment domains such as Acquiring, Instant Payments, Issuing, Processing, or Large Value, without necessarily possessing advanced proficiency.
  9. Ensure diligent and efficient documentation practices for all project-related activities.
  10. Foster strong stakeholder engagement through clear communication and active collaboration.
  11. May or may not be involved in direct client-facing activities, based on project requirements.
  12. Support compliance with regulatory mandates and card scheme standards by incorporating relevant guidelines into system designs and documentation.
  13. Contribute to the adoption of new payment technologies and standards by evaluating their impact and providing recommendations.
  14. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to provide valuable insights for project success.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  2. At least 1-2 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in the fintech industry, focusing on payment systems and digital solutions.
  3. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable specifications.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  5. In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks related to digital systems and financial services.
  6. Familiarity with card scheme standards, payment processing protocols, and industry best practices.
