Delta Gulf Oman, a company based in Oman, is looking for a Planning Engineer. As a Project Manager Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing project execution, as well as coordinating with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the project are on track. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage high-rise construction projects.
  2. Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  3. Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  4. Coordinate with stakeholders.
  5. Monitor project progress and manage risks.
  6. Prepare and present project reports.
  7. Review BOQ, budget, specifications, and drawings for new tenders to produce procurement lists.
  8. Arrange RFQs and comparable quotes from international suppliers.
  9. Prepare comparative reports on options regarding subcontractors and material providers.
  10. Ensure correct materials are ordered for the project.
  11. Liaise with contracts/commercial managers and suppliers/subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  12. Monitor stock levels of standard materials and ensure timely procurement.
  13. Maintain continuous communication with suppliers/subcontractors and Contracts Manager.
  14. Review value engineering opportunities and notify relevant stakeholders.
  15. Follow up on final closeout documentation from suppliers and subcontractors.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering + Master's degree.
  2. PMP Certification is a plus.
  3. 5+ years in high-rise construction.
  4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  5. Proficient in project management tools.
  6. 5 to 6 years' proven experience as a procurement engineer or Project Manager in civil construction projects.
  7. International procurement experience is a plus.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluent English accent is required.
