Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop quality standards for the organisation's raw materials, in-process products, and finished products, and design new, complex, or innovative measures, tests, sampling methods, and other procedures to ensure standards are met.
2. Manage manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality, and cost goals.
3. This role reports to the Lead Microbiologist.

What You Will Do:

• Laboratory Testing and Calibration: Operate and maintain a safe, accident-free laboratory environment. Prioritize testing based on business needs and departmental goals. Confirm doubtful results. Perform internal calibration of equipment as per plan. Maintain and operate specified laboratory equipment safely. Report results to respective engineers and operators in a timely manner.
• Environmental Monitoring: Responsible for executing and reassessing the company's Environmental Monitoring (EM) program.
• Chemicals and Equipment: Ensure the availability of all required solutions/chemicals. Immediately report non-functional instruments to the Lead Microbiologist and send notifications for repairs without delay.
• SAP Data Entry: Accurately complete data entry into SAP for lot releases to ensure timely dispatches to customers.
• Audits: Participate in internal and external audits by ensuring laboratory practices comply with regulatory standards, customer requirements, and quality management systems.

What You Will Bring:

• B.S (Hons), M.S (Hons) in Microbiology or Food Sciences
• 1-2 years of experience in Microbial Laboratory Food and Pharma
